We have had the pleasure of dealing with a wonderful buyer (Mr. G Frost) who had put a £1000 deposit down on a Narrow Boat and then decided that it was not the boat for him. The survey did not find any faults with the hull or the engine equating to more than 5% of the asking price and therefor we did not have to refund his deposit. However, in this case we decided to refund the buyers deposit in full because he was an absolute pleasure to deal with and polite throughout the whole process.. We are now searching for a more suitable vessel for him.
