Meet Free Nomad, a charming 57ft by 11ft 5’ Dutch Barge with a fascinating history dating back to its birth in Amsterdam in 1916. It journeyed from France to the UK in 2023, where it was surveyed and has since undergone significant improvements, including the addition of a overplating and a brand new engine and bow thruster.

Boasting a sturdy body of riveted iron and welded carbon steel, it was expertly overplated in 2023. The Canaline 72hp engine and Sleipner Bow Thruster, both new additions, ensure smooth sailing. Notably, Free Nomad is already prepared for sprayfoam insulation and with double glazed windows and original portholes, which have been resealed.

Water and fuel are well accounted for with three stainless steel water tanks totaling 1500L and a diesel fuel tank with a 1000L capacity. It’s been thoroughly protected with 2pac epoxy in 2023 and outfitted with 12 new bilge pumps.
